My Hobby

My task today is about hobby. I have more hobbies to do in free time, but swimming is my favorite hobby to do it in my free time. I have two reasons why I chose this hobby. The first reason is can makes more healty. Second, this hobby can shaping your body.

When you want to swim, you must prepare swimsuit and also google. Within this equipment, you will enjoy swimming in the pool.

Besides, if you take competition, you will know more rules. The rules are :

Alice in Wonderland

– I like this book because this book is quite good to rea. This book makes me create more imagination and also a lot of fantasy.

 

 

FILM REVIEW

I watched an episode of friends film. The title of the movie is “The one where it all began”.

Monica finds Rachel a cafe and explains to her why she’s wearing the wedding dress: She ran out of her wedding just a few hours ago. After that, the series  truly begins as Rachel becomes roommates with Monica.

Rachel goes on a date with Paul the Wine Guy and he lies to her about not being able to perform sexually since his big break-up two years ago. Rachel falls for it and ends up sleeping with Paul the Wine Guy after the first date. Sadly though, she learns that he tells every woman that on their first date. Rachel is furious and crushes his wrist-watch in anger as a callback to how he destroyed his ex’s watch after they broke up.

Then, Monica was laugh when she is interviewed in some offices, buy new boots with credit cards. She should cut off her credit cards which her father give it to her.

I thought this series is more complicated because this story told about love story.

The Opinion about my own country

I thought my own country have two sides, positive side and negative side. There are more points for this two sides, but I put in three points only. Indonesia have a beautiful nature, more historical building like museum, and good for make your own business as well.

On the other hand, Indonesia have negative side, such as : The places are so messed up, it does not arrange anymore. The traffic jam make people in Indonesia so stress, and also every year the population in Indonesia is increasing dramatically. There are too bad but this is my own country! 😀

I interviewed three peoples in my campus (Fontys university) about my own country. The nationality from this people are Germany and Dutch. Unfortunately, both of them know a little bit about Indonesia and someday want to visit Indonesia. This is the opinion :

Julian (Germany Man) said that Indonesia people are more easier to get brown skins than Europian people like him. And also Indonesia people are a polite person, they always smile to each other.

Danny (Dutch Man) said that Indonesia people have happiness as same as Europian people. Indonesia have a unique person. Talking about education, He said that Indonesia people are more intelligent because some indonesia people learn English at Fontys.

On the other hand, one of them is knowing more about Indonesia. She have been visited Indonesia in 1996. She went to visit her family for two weeks and also went to Bali. This is her opinion :

Lara (Dutch Woman) said that Indonesia people is more relax than dutch people. She is like the nature of Indonesia. The Indonesia’s climate is better than Netherlands. And also the sun goes down earlier than here.

In conclusion, I and other people in Indonesia who will study aboard should introduce more about Indonesia because only few people in outside know about my own country.

MY OWN COUNTRY

I have four topics to talk about, such as : Education, Climate, Traveling and Happiness.

Education

Education system in Indonesia is divided in 4 level, such as : pre-school Education (4-6 years old), Basic Education (7-15 years old), Secondary Education (16-18 years old), Higher Education (13-16 years old). After that we feel free to take another education or search the jobs.

In my Country, the kids start their school life at least in 4 years old. Their parents must search a better place for their children to learn each things in their life and also to reach their dreams. School life always give them the good experiences to learn something new.

On the other hand, some parents do not care about the education for their children. The parents do not think about the future of their children. The parents teach them to search money for their family.

Talking about education in my country is quiet hard to say it. Goverment are help them with give free education for poor people. In fact, The parents do not take their children to school and the birocracy do not help them also.

Climate

In my own country, the climate are divided into 2 seasons, such as : dry season (June to September), influenced by the Australian continental air masses, and a rainy season (December to March) that is the result of mainland Asia and Pacific Ocean air masses. Honestly, On June and July does not dry season anymore but  the rain always goes down. This is effect from global warming. Australian people like to visit Indonesia, like Bali because they can tanned their skins.

Travelling

Travelling is a interesting topic to talk about. People in every country like to travel around the world, same like people in Indonesia. The reasons why people want to travel are reducing stress, spending time with their family, having fun, and relaxing. On the other hand, travelling also using a lot of money. So, People in my own country should work for travelling around Indonesia or world.

Happiness

Getting Happiness is easier if you enjoy your life. You can get happiness in your family, and friends. Happiness can increasing your mood to do everything with better ways.

First Day in Amsterdam

I, my friends (Asih, Ririn, Ola, Angel, Sancia) and also my consular (Cesar) have safely arrived in Schipol on Sunday, August 4, 2013. After that we met Lara in Schipol who will guide us to Amsterdam for one day. For your information, Lara is cousin from Cesar. She is nice person, friendly, beautiful and charming :).

We took train from Schipol to Amsterdam for sightseeing some places. This is my first time to use the public transportation in Netherlands, so excited :D!!

The first place we went to “museumplein” by tram and also walking together to reach this place. We found I Amsterdam letters which is a famous icon city in Amsterdam. We did not forget to capturing ourselves in this icon. In addition, This icon city measures over 23,5 meters wide and more than 2 meters tall. After that, we searching some souvenirs and ate the famous food, stroopwaffels, yummy! The cost of stroopwaffel is € 2,25.

I was suprise because the sun was shine even at 6.00 PM. Honestly, In my country (Indonesia) you can found the sun goes down at 5.30 PM. hahaha. Finally, the journey in Amsterdam was finish. yey! we can take a rest for while. We went to Kasteel de Berckt in Venlo by train via Maastricht – Eindhoven. I can not feel my legs and my foots because i must take my heavy baggage, hmm I took 27 kg by myself!! OMG! It is too heavy.

Then, We arrived in Venlo and took a taxi for went to the Kasteel de Berckt. And have a good sleep

I am waiting for my next experience ! 🙂 🙂
